Here are the photos that I think are special for Iceland. Landscape, houses, light and people. So if you want a collection of Icelandic picture, this is a good place to start.
Eyjafjallajökull
This picture is taken in Þórsmörk in south Iceland. The Glacier seen here is one of the smaller glacier in Iceland. Þórsmörk a very beautiful place. Small valleys surrounded by mountains and three glaciers. It is only possible to go there by four wheel drive jeeps or by foot because there are several rivers without bridges you have to cross.
Distance
The mountain in the distance is Háganga (high walk), lava in the foreground. This is in Iceland highland where there is very arduous terrain.

This is taken somewhere in North Iceland.
The darkness is arriving. Still there is enough light to create mysterious scenery.
Kaldalón bay
Kaldalón is a bay in the Ísafjarðardjúp, Westfjords, Iceland. The pink, brownish color on the sea is because of a glacier river that runs in to the sea.
Kaldalon is a 5 km long bay branching to the north from the large Isafiord Bay. One of the few glacier tongues of the only glacier of the Northwest, Drangajokull, flows down into the short valley at its end. The Morilla River is its discharge and gradually delivers silt deposits, which are filling it up. During the 18th century, the glacier tongue advanced far enough to bury the farm Lonholl.
According to written sources, another farm called Trimbilstadir stood there in the past, but there are no traces of it left. The road crosses the Morilla River and ends at the abandoned farm Tyrdilmyri. Actually the entire length of the northern shoreline of the Isafiord Bay is deserted, all the farms there have been abandoned. One of the most beloved composers of the country, Sigvaldi Kaldalons, who also was a doctor of medicine, lived in Kaldalon for a time. He took up the name Kaldalon, because the natural beauty of the place spellbound him.

The autumn colors on the moss and the undergrowth are in there´s highest level, It´s October.
Krísuvík
Hot spring area, Krisuvik, Iceland. The geothermal area Krýsuvík is situated on the Reykjanes peninsula in Iceland. It is in the south of Reykjanes in the middle of the fissure zone on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge which traverses Iceland diagonally from the south-west to the north-east of the island.
Krýsuvík is one of Iceland's high temperature areas. This becomes visible through the sulphur springs and hot springs at Seltún and another similar area nearby.
At Seltún, one finds by now some explanations to the phenomena to see, a wooden show path and hiking trails leading up the mountain Sveifluháls behind.
The biggest lake in the area, Kleifarvatn, began to diminish after a big earthquake in 2000; 20% of its surface has since disappeared.
Some of the minor lakes show also the influence of volcanism, so for example Grænavatn with its luminous green colour.
In this area, there had been some farms till the 19th century. But they had to be given up. Only a small chapel, Krísuvíkurkirkja built in 1857, remains and can be visited.
Haunted

This is taken in August on a foggy day.
This house is bound to be haunted.

Snæfellsjökull
Snæfellsjökull is one of the glacier in Iceland. It´s a volcano, which has been dormant for about 1800 years. Around the mountain are lava fields from several eruptions. The crater on top of the mountain is about 200 m deep, filled with ice and surrounding it are iced cliffs.
This glacier became world famous through Jules Verne's novel "The Journey to the Center of the Earth”.
